Design Engineers

  • Design and improve new and existing production equipment
  • Conceptualize, design, and build equipment to manufacture a broad range of products
  • Specify and purchase sub-assemblies, produce shop-ready prints, and provide overall project coordination

Typical majors sought: B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.

Process Engineers

  • Improve, modify, and expand manufacturing processes; enhance ePTFE technology
  • Create design solutions related to material characteristics and manufacturing processes
  • Move new products from the development phase to manufacturing
  • Turn customer requirements into manufacturing solutions; identify and remove manufacturing constraints
  • Implement environmental and ergonomic improvements; install, operate, maintain, and upgrade production and testing equipment, equipment layout and workflow

Typical majors sought: B.S., M.S., and Ph.D., in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Material Science.

Product Development Associates

  • Identify potential markets and develop new products; improve existing products
  • Plan and design new products, equipment, and product applications
  • Work on prototype installation, operations, and analysis of prototype testing
  • Work with end users to facilitate design solutions and product innovations based on customer needs

Manufacturing Engineering/Operations Associates

Applications Engineers

  • Plan and design end-use applications for our products
  • Solve problems and troubleshoot for customers; provide technical support to field sales people
  • Facilitate design solutions; evaluate and solve problems and troubleshoot for customers

Process Control Engineers

  • Work on projects related to PLC, PC, and/or robot programming, motion control systems utilizing servo motor, stepper motor, AC drives, DC drives, and/or pneumatic control
  • Create process instrumentation design, install and implement web handling technologies for unique machines and processes

Typical majors sought: B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Operations Management Associates

  • Drive projects to optimize manufacturing systems
  • Conduct capacity analyses
  • Schedule manufacturing

Technical Sales Associates

  • Work with experienced sales associates, product specialists, inside sales associates, and engineers to learn the benefits and features of Gore's unique products and our business and sales strategies
  • Travel to participate in sales calls, technical service calls and trade exhibits
  • Relocation and extensive travel are usually required
  • For medical field sales, prior technical and O.R. experience are often required
